TICA Kids

Japan

The Tsukuba International Christian Assembly (TICA) Church in Japan hosts kids’ outreach programs all year round. It is connecting with ever-increasing numbers of Japanese families and sharing the gospel with kids through camps, special events, and a weekly preschool. However, they have a vision to do even more. They want to equip the ministry with an interactive puppet stage, indoor play equipment, a rock-climbing wall, and comfortable furniture.

Mission:

Target for 2024: $25,000

Breakdown: $15,000 for a rock-climbing wall; $2,000 for furniture; $3,000 for a puppet stage and interactive equipment; $5,000 for indoor play equipment.

Additional Details: This project is in partnership with the Tsukuba ICA Church and has the full endorsement of the Japanese Assemblies of God. At the last English camp hosted by the TICA kids’ ministry, 28 children and their parents heard the gospel for the first time. Three of those families have made Tsukuba ICA their new church home.

Pray:

Pray for more seeds of the gospel, hope, and love to be planted in Japan. In a culture that is stressed to the maximum with the pressures of work and study, pray that TICA can provide a place for families and children to play together and pray together.
