School Bathrooms Sanitation Project

Papua New Guinea

Mission:

After recently taking a message of hope to a school in Papua New Guinea, some medical missionaries were stunned to learn that this school of 500 students had no bathrooms. Students needing to believe themselves had no choice but to use a field of tall grass next to the school. This poses many health and safety problems. Praise the Lord for the opportunity to do something to help these students and teachers!

Target for 2024: $2,000

Breakdown: 10 bathrooms at $200 each

Additional Details: Initially, this school was being evaluated for a possible partnership for digging a well that would provide fresh water. However, it was determined that the sanitation issue needed to be resolved first.
