Feeding Programs

Malnutrition and starvation is a real and evident problem for millions of children in Asia. ALO works with feeding and special assistance programs that reach out to children and families in this life-threatening situation.

• Assisting Childcare Compassion Ministries Philippines feeding stations. Each day approximately 1,500 malnourished Filipino children receive a nutritious meal, a vitamin, medicine if needed, and a Bible lesson through this project.

• Giving assistance to refugee children and families in various parts of Indonesia who have been displaced due to civil unrest.

• Providing resources for the Laos School Outreach, which feeds poverty-stricken Lao children in addition to supplying educational scholarships.

• Assisting Spice International Compassion Ministry, which provides a weekly feeding program for needy children in Spice, Surabaya, and East Java in Indonesia.
