Chiang Rai Children’s Home

Thailand

Mission:

To provide orphans and underprivileged children with a home, an education, and physical and spiritual care.

With the purpose of helping disadvantaged children in rural areas of Thailand, Chiang Rai Children’s Home serves 112 children from six northern hill tribes. The backgrounds of so many of these children are tragic—broken homes, abandonment, and pain. Poverty has driven many of these children’s parents to illegal acts. Some numb their pain with drugs or are extremely angry and violent. Some parents are in prison. But the future can be very different from the past. Chiang Rai Children’s Home provides a loving home where each child is learning that God has a great plan for his or her life.

Target for 2024: $60,094

Breakdown: 112 children × $1.47/day to help with basic care needs = $60,094

Additional Details: Chiang Rai Children’s Home was established in 1995. Over the years, it has transformed the lives of many Thai and stateless children. It is a reputable and well-established ministry.
